“ Dave's is a lovely cozy restaurant, with a small town feel, they offer a few different breakfast and dinner options, all very tasty and well presented, Dave is a great guy, and can even offer different dishes not on the menu, if given advance notice, it's one of the best small restaurant options in Bancroft. ”
“ When we first pulled up we weren't sure. It's a renovated house and looked empty. But we went inside and there was a couple there talking to a young man. They were obviously regulars so we decided to stay. The portions are really good size and the food was fresh and tastey. I would highly recommend this place. For two of us it came to 29. For lunch. You can't beat those kind of prices. ”
“ Stopped in to Dave's place for breakfast during a weekend trip to bancroft. Dave made us feel at home and comfortable from the moment we walked in, even though they were short staffed. We ordered a couple bacon and egg breakfast specials and an eggs bene. All eggs were perfectly cooked, bacon was flavourful, the potato side was a shredded hash brown which I'm normally not a fan of since it's hard to cook them so they aren't mushy and greasy, but these weren't bad. Service was fast and friendly and the prices offered great value! Will definitely be back on our next visit. ”

“ Came into town for a getaway. Dave served us and was so kind! I got the chicken parm and he got 8oz steak. The steak was juicy and well-seared. The veggies were perfectly grilled and not oily. “ Really unassuming restaurant in Bancroft. Service was great, though I had to wait about 10 minutes extra for my burger to be ready. The family working is really friendly. Menu is good..classic Canadian food. Prices are cheap so and it's really good value. We got the onions rings, burger, and fish and chips. Burger might have been cooked from frozen, but it was fine. It was like Burger King quality id say but was huge and the fries were amazing. Onions rings were delicious and a good portion. The girlfriend loved the fish and chips. Good fish flavor, not too greasy. Overall, 5/5 from me and we will definitely be returning the next time we visit Bancroft. Better than Eagles Nest in my opinion and a better business to support if you want some quick eats instead of Maccas or Subway. ”
“ In the area to ride the trails and stopped in for dinner last night. Fast and friendly service, comfy and welcoming small diner atmosphere. Not sure if it was “Dave” working but seemed to be the owner and just a super chill, friendly guy who we had a great chat with. Supper was yummy, fries were perfect and my Asian chicken salad was very yummy. ”
